Congestion at Bangkok airport
06 November 2026
The Thai Airway/Interline Terminal at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) is experiencing severe congestion, impacting both import and export operations and flight handling.
Key impacts observed
- Shortage of ULDs and cargo handling equipment.
- Some airlines working with the Thai Airways/Interline Terminal have started implementing cargo acceptance restrictions.
- Inbound and outbound delays that could incur additional costs.
To minimise disruption to your supply chain, we recommend routing shipments to, from, and via Thailand to an unaffected terminal in BKK such BFS or to Don Muang (DMK) airport.
Please contact your local Toll Global Forwarding representative to discuss alternatives.
We continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as needed.
