Bangkok air freight terminal congestion update
29 May 2026
Toll Global Forwarding is advising customers of ongoing congestion at the BFS export terminal in Bangkok, Thailand.
Current situation
Current conditions include extended truck queues, delays in cargo screening and weighing, manpower constraints, and congestion across cargo acceptance and warehouse areas. In some cases, trucks are waiting more than 30–48 hours to deliver cargo into the terminal.
Customer impact
These conditions may result in longer cargo processing times, shipment rollover, higher handling pressure within warehouse operations, and potential service disruption or extended transit times. Capacity is also severely constrained, and any available space may come at significantly higher rates.
We are closely monitoring the situation and will provide further updates as they become available. Customers are encouraged to contact their local Toll Global Forwarding representative to discuss available alternatives.
