Sydney, 18 August 2026 - Toll is honoured to be awarded Carrier of the Year by Woolworths Primary Connect at their annual Transport Safety Day in Sydney.
The award is in recognition of Toll’s exceptional safety record, operational excellence, and steadfast reliability in keeping supermarket shelves stocked across the country.
The awards ceremony was held at Woolworths Group’s head office, and comprised over 180 carrier partner representatives, industry professionals, and Primary Connect leaders.
Toll provides both Primary Connect and store delivery services across its expansive national network. Operating 24/7, Toll moves 5,000 loads each week, servicing over 300 Woolworths supermarkets and liquor retailers in the Sydney and Wyong regions, 320 in Melbourne, and 14 BIG W stores in Perth.
Nick Vrckovski, President of Retail & Consumer at Toll, said: “Being awarded Carrier of the Year for Woolworths Primary Connect is an outstanding achievement for Toll and our people. It is a true reflection of the hard work and dedication of our entire workforce who deliver 24/7, and a testament to the strategic relationship we have built over 26 years with Primary Connect.”
As an industry leader in sustainability and safety innovation, Toll is also a key partner in Primary Connect’s sustainability plans. To date, Toll has successfully integrated six electric prime movers with dedicated on-site charging at Moorebank, significantly reducing emissions while working alongside local councils and the NHVR to expand their EV operating network.
