Toll City, our next-generation warehouse facility in Singapore, has officially opened. The seven-storey building was unveiled to a crowd which included guest of honour Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing, Executive Chairman Toll Group John Mullen, President and CEO Japan Post Masatsugu Nagato as well as Executive Vice President Toll Global Logistics Singapore, CEO ST Logistics Vincent Phang.
Vincent Phang, Executive Vice President of Toll Global Logistics Singapore, Chief Executive Officer of ST Logistics said the company was excited about the possibilities the new facility will provide for customers looking to grow in the region.
“Toll City in Singapore is a new growth chapter for Toll in Asia. Toll’s focus on technology developments will revolutionise the way people work, as we create resilient supply chain solutions that deliver smarter, faster and better outcomes for our clients,” said Mr Phang.
“With the SiTadeL Control Tower in Toll City, we have been addressing Singapore’s urban logistics challenges with real-time visibility and monitoring of our moving assets. As a result, we offer an integrated supply chain management process that’s prepared for surge periods, and potential supply chain disruptions caused by human or natural disasters.”
The site will support Toll’s key industries of retail, fast moving consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceuticals and includes the latest innovative technology that increases efficiency and productivity.
Toll City is equipped to meet the region’s industry and economic demands.
