Following stage 1 of the Defence Force Recruiting procurement process, Toll is one of only four companies selected to participate in the Request for Tender (RFT) stage. This second stage will help Defence to identify the right capability partner to deliver this nationally critical recruiting contract.

Toll Government and Defence and Toll People business units will participate in solution definition activities to refine Toll’s approach prior to submitting an RFT. Toll People are one of Australia’s largest recruitment agencies, recruiting for thousands of temporary and permanent roles each year.

Toll’s RFT will aim to offer:

  • A modern and fit for purpose recruiting system built on enhanced technology, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • An optimised candidate journey that promotes equal opportunity and support for all Australians
  • An adaptable and agile recruiting system designed to attract and retain the best available talent at the right time

Toll Government and Defence EGM Mr Perry Singh said, “Being invited to participate in stage 2 of such a highly competitive tender process demonstrates Toll has the skills and resources Defence needs, but more importantly, that we’re a reliable partner capable of delivering innovative and effective solutions”.

Toll People’s EGM Mr Grahame Doyle said, “Recruitment for Defence is critical to Australia and our nation. Toll’s proposal will be designed to attract the right people at the right time in the right numbers”.
