Toll Helicopters, Toll Group’s provider of specialised helicopter services has partnered with D4H Technologies to support its mission-critical aeromedical service for NSW Health set to begin in 2017.

As part of its contract, Toll will provide rescue services in Sydney, across NSW and the ACT from four purpose-built bases in Bankstown, Wollongong, Orange and Canberra.

Requiring a best in class software solution that provides advanced mission analytics and reporting, Toll chose to partner with D4H Technologies who design and develop software specifically for the emergency services industry.

D4H Technologies supply unique solutions for the emergency services industry including equipment management, crew training and qualification management and incident management and reporting.

These solutions will enable Toll to accurately track and report all aspects of response team management as well as adding efficiencies to the overall operations of its helicopter services.

“It is really important for Toll to partner with a technology provider who offers market leading technology solutions especially when it comes to supporting mission-critical, emergency service,” Mark Delany, General Manager of Toll Helicopters, said.

“The management systems will be used at Bankstown Aeromedical Crewing Centre of Excellence and will support our crew training as well as our active missions”

In 2014 Toll was awarded the NSW Ambulance southern region search and rescue contract. As part of the 10-year contract Toll has committed to build and operate a Crewing Excellence Training Centre at Bankstown Airport. The centre will provide all aircrew serving the communities of NSW and ACT with aeromedical training.

Toll Helicopters will also operate eight purpose-built AW139 medical helicopters as part of its mission-critical services.
