Diversity & Inclusion

Our diversity of people is one of our advantages. It gives us a broader perspective on how to solve our customers’ needs. At Toll, we believe that creating a safe, open and positive workplace ensures that every individual has the opportunity to be their best selves.

Working together inclusively

Our global workforce is diverse in nature. As a result we work hard to reap the benefits that an inclusive workforce brings. We foster strong connections across colleagues, customers and communities, over the 1,200 locations in which we operate.

Opportunities to progress that are shared equally

Toll’s graduate and pathway programs as well as training and mentoring initiatives support employees to progress their ambitions.

We partner with the Graham Polly Farmer foundation which empowers young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to achieve academic success. The Foundation currently delivers 48 educational enrichment programs, providing support to over 1900 students. As part of the program Toll provides opportunities for indigenous students to identify further educational and employment opportunities by supporting excursions, health & wellbeing workshops, site visits and career camps.

We have also established the Indigenous Employee Network aimed at providing an opportunity for Toll Management and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees to come together.

Respect for one another

Our 2020 Diversity and Equal Opportunity policy makes sure everyone is treated with fairness and respect. This document demonstrates our commitment to high expectations on behaviour and conduct. You can view it here
