GraysOnline is an Australian online retail and auction company offering an enormous range of consumer, industrial and commercial goods direct from manufacturers and distributors. Its extremely diverse product catalogue ranges from fine jewellery, wine and electronics through to furniture, sports gear, appliances and even mining equipment.
GraysOnline needed a logistics partner with the capability to provide sophisticated, flexible and reliable consumer delivery solutions across its incredibly diverse product range and the capacity to support them in delivering the 100,000+ items they sell each month. MTS is a managed transport system developed by Toll for our customers to simplify complex transport models and supply chain logistics. Toll’s MTS team undertakes an in-depth interrogation of our customer’s needs, using our sophisticated MTS tool to analyse the exact requirements and provide an optimised transport model.
MTS does everything from automatically selecting the best – and most cost-effective – carrier for each delivery, to optimising load planning, tailoring reporting and consolidating invoicing across all carriers into a single invoice.
By using MTS, Toll is providing this major online retailer with the most cost-effective transport model for its complex, high volume delivery requirements, while making sure GraysOnline is able to meet its delivery promises to its thousands of customers.
