What is RSS?

RSS stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’ – an RSS feed lets you know when a website has been updated. It helps you keep informed of changes and new content as it is published without having to visit the site regularly.

RSS feeds can be read using news readers or aggregators. Some news readers are programs you download and install on your computer and others are web-based services that you access with your web browser – many free or inexpensive news readers can be found with a quick search of the web.
