Acquisition Wesfarmers WA Freight Services & Logistic Operations

Toll Holdings Limited, Australia's leading transport and logistics provider, today announced it had entered into an agreement with Wesfarmers Limited to acquire its Western Australian Freight Services and Logistics Operations.

Toll Managing Director, Mr Paul Little, said that "the acquisition will support our already strong network of operations in Western Australia by further expanding its size and customer base. The effective date for transfer of the business is 12 November 2001."
