Get ready for the 2014 Toll Charity Classic. This year we will see the event held at two venues – the golf will be held at the 36 hole Coolangatta Tweed Golf Course, followed by the Gala Dinner at Jupiters, Gold Coast.
With plenty of on-course promotion for our golf enthusiasts and tables available for the Gala Dinner, Friday 10 October 2014 is a day to be marked on everyone’s calendar.
Guests will be treated to a star-studded event with all proceeds once again being donated to the Ponting Foundation, which provides funding for essential services that help young Australians with cancer while providing emotional support and financial assistance for their family.
The Gala Dinner will feature pre-dinner drinks and entertainment, a mouth-watering meal, silent auction, raffle, grand auction and plenty of other fantastic prizes up for grabs. There will be live music to keep everyone up out of their seats dancing, and there will also be a chance to meet some very special guests including, Mark Seymour and The Undertow.
Critically acclaimed, Mark Seymour’s songs such as, Throw Your Arms Around Me, Holy Grail and When the River Runs Dry are songs that we’ll always treasure and we are delighted to welcome Mark to perform at the Toll Charity Classic Gala Dinner.
The Toll Charity Classic is an event not to be missed. Registrations open 15 June.

The Ponting Foundation is dedicated to doing everything possible to help young Australians and their families beat cancer. It provides funding for a wide range of essential services that comfort and nurture young Australians with cancer while providing emotional support and financial assistance for their family.
Through alliances with some of Australia’s leading cancer charities and research groups, Ricky Ponting has used his profile to influence widespread community engagement to raise important incremental funds for specific charity programs, hospitals and ground-breaking research projects engaged in the fight against cancer in Australia’s children and youth. The Foundation is also actively involved in funding programs that assist in the care and well-being of the wider family unit as they support their child through their illness
Funds raised from the Toll Charity Classic will be used to support Redkite’s Exceptional Needs Assistance (ENA) program. The ENA program was created by the Ponting Foundation in partnership with Redkite in 2009 in response to families experiencing rare and severe needs in addition to a childhood cancer diagnosis. The ENA program brings much needed relief to families managing with exceptional circumstances at the most vulnerable time in their lives. Cases are referred to Redkite by social welfare and health professionals across Australia and assistance comes in the form of grants of up to $5,000 per eligible family.
The Ponting Foundation recently committed to continue its support of the ENA program for a further three years. Toll’s support in 2014 is an important part of the Foundation’s ongoing ENA funding.
The Toll Charity Classic is an annual event organised by Toll Group. Toll is the Asia Pacific region’s leading provider of transport and logistics, employing more than 45,000 people, across some 1,200 locations in more than 50 countries.
